When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed version of your password. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt) and are never accessible to us in plain text.

1.2 Business Data

You provide details about the businesses you want to track, including business name, category, location, website URL, and competitor information. This data is stored securely and used only to run AI visibility checks on your behalf.

1.3 Usage and Technical Data

We automatically collect certain technical information including IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited. This helps us maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

1.4 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card details on our servers. We receive transaction confirmation and metadata (transaction ID, plan purchased, amount) from Razorpay.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Execute AI visibility checks using third-party AI providers
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails (verification, receipts, low-credit alerts)
• Send occasional product updates (you can opt out anytime)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party AI Providers

To generate visibility reports, we send your prompts (which include business names and categories) to third-party AI providers:

• Google Gemini (Google LLC)
• OpenAI ChatGPT (via OpenRouter)
• Anthropic Claude (via OpenRouter)
• Perplexity Sonar (via OpenRouter)

These providers process the prompts according to their own privacy policies. We do not share your account credentials or payment information with them. Only the prompt text (containing business name, category, location) is transmitted.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Hosting (cPanel shared hosting), payment processor (Razorpay), and AI providers listed above
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with prior notice to you)
• Fraud prevention: To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and business data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Historical check results and credit transaction logs may be retained for up to 24 months for analytics and legal compliance.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted database connections (TLS)
• Password hashing with bcrypt
• Secure API key storage
• Access controls on our servers
• Regular security reviews

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

• Opt out of promotional emails (transactional emails will continue)
